Adjustment Help for a 2000 Monterey 16 foot slider
« on: October 26, 2018, 09:31:27 PM »
Hi everyone,

I haven't been here for a while.

Does anyone have experience with the driver side slider on a Beaver Monterey - the 16+/- foot one.

One side has dropped about 1/2" and I wonder if there is a good and simple fix for that issue.

If not a simple one then a good fix will be appreciated.

Thank You All

Tom,
Here is a description of the fix for the bedroom slide but it is also applicable to the front slide. It's found on the BAC website, Technical, Common Problems.  http://beaveramb.org/acadp_listings/slide-sag-remedy/

More info on front slide sag from Forum;

and another one

Note Gerald's comment about repairing worn out rolllers with a PVC sleeve as that may be your problem rather than an indented floor.

Steve,

I adjusted the horizontal , thanks to your and others help- thank you all.

I now have the adjustment of seating the slide.

As the slide is in at the front and fully seated - the rear which was the horizontal adjustment - is out by 1/2" to 3/4" , not seated and will leak into the coach as it is now.

Is there an adjustment point - maybe the gear - which will allow the rear of the slide to seat better?

Thank you

Tom,
Check the plate(s) you installed. If  any of them is too long it could cause the problem you are describing.
