Magnum B-Series "Magnum Air" Ride Height
« on: February 25, 2019, 12:59:34 PM »
Can anyone tell me the ride height of the Magnum B-Series "Magnum Air" suspension on the 1998 Patriot along with the proper way to measure it?  I found the Magnum Chassis manual in Coach Assist, but I don't see any mention of ride height in it.  I also saw the post of the 2005 Patriot where the ride height is 10" from the top of the bottom plate to the bottom of the top plate of the bellow:

Does anyone know if it's the same for the 1998 model year?

The 2005 is a different chassis (Roadmaster M-Series) and you have the SMC "Magnum Air" chassis.
So I would not count on the measurement to be the same. But the way you adjust the height would be the same or similar for both chassis.

UPDATE: According to this document (see last row in table) https://beaveramb.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/MagnumChassisSetupSpec.pdf
the ride height is set at 10" and the measurements are taken at the same place (between mounting pads) as with the 2005 Patriot.
