Tires
« on: March 08, 2019, 03:36:02 PM »
Hi Has anyone used Continental for steer tires?  Any input would be helpful. Looking at their HA3 or HSR2 SA.

Please advise.

Thanks

Well I haven't used them.....Yet!  I am in the  process of putting the  HSR2SA's on my MH for all 6 tires.  I have a friend who owns a trucking company who swears by the continental's in general and these tires for motorhome applications.  In my case I will have almost 3000 lbs of extra capacity on the front axle.  The HSR2SA's are also a J rated 16 ply tire.  Sorry I can not answer how they work yet, but I feel good about my purchase.

I have heard very good things about the Continental tires, and for motorhome applications a few people around here run them!
Myself I have michilens, and may look at them for my next set.

I just bought toyos for mine but when I was trying to decide which brand I would use, I noticed UPS uses Continentals on a lot of there trucks.
