Got all new tires today
« on: April 06, 2019, 04:23:24 AM »
I know tires are discussed quite often. I went with Toyo's M165 75/22.5. Wondering if anyone has replaced with this particular model or another size of Toyo's. Looked at Goodyear, but remembered some of the members not caring for them. Going south for a short stay on Monday in Gold  Beach. A couple of the inner back tires were dated from 1999!
Thanks
Jason

I have the Toyo’s. They’ve been great.  My current ones are about 7 years old so I’ll be replacing them soon.  Such a shame. They only have about 10K miles on them.  But, better safe than sorry.  When I bought this coach 7 years ago, it had the original tires from 1998 still on it. They only had 3K miles on them!

Not familiar with your 165 model.  Many of us are happy with our 144’s.  It was a a reformulation of an older Toyo made for commercial trucks that failed too often on motorhomes, and that shouldn’t have been mounted thereon.  Unfortunately that gave the brand a bad reputation that some motorhome installers still harbor.  The 144 doesn’t deserve that.

We've put 40K on M144s. Very happy.

Another vote for the Toyo M144 here. Replaced our Bridgestone 250Rs with Toyos about 5K ago. Dearly loved the Bridgestones but not the replacement price. Don't notice a difference in handling a bit and the capacity is the same. No regrets. 8)
