Cabinet Latches

Good Afternoon and hope everyone is enjoying this Memorial Day weekend.  I've did a search on BAC and only found one topic on the cabinet latches in the Beaver 2000 Marquis.  There was no reference to a part number or link. Has anyone had better luck finding these? Can anyone provide me a part # or an alternative solution for this.

Our coach has push-release cabinet latches... no magnets.  Are yours magnetic, or how do they work?

The closest I see are from Sugatsune/Lamp, but I can’t tell entirely from your photo if any are the exact same model.  Look up Sugatsune and Lamp brands and see if any match both the catch and the latch, as there are touch latches, magnetic (not advisable on an RV), and others of many variances.

Email the photo and info to Beaver Coach Sales Parts if you can’t find it;  they make an effort to collect and stock off of parted-out Beaver coaches and parts house clearances.

You could reuse the old round thru-door piece, or paint the new one brass.

Thank you all for your input.  I'm going to order one and see how it works.  Wife has to approve the knob / color.  I'm just her labor!

I see the trigger mechanism is apparently different.  Check the dimensions shown on the webpage against your latch’s measurements, and perhaps call them to see if they offer an exact replacement.

If yours aren't push type cabinet latches, you might consider not closing them completely when you are parked/not on the road.
We were told years ago to leave the cabinets unlatched to save wear and tear...just a thought for you when you get them replaced...

Yes, Vicki, we figured that out too.  We leave the cabinet doors ajar while parked, be that a few days or months.  Just don't forget to latch them closed before you drive away.
