WINDSHIELD CURTAIN FUSE

Lost power to my electric windshield privacy curtain.  Anyone know where the fuse is?  Can’t find it.

Bob, on my Patriot, I would check for voltage at the switch, which in my case is in a cabinet above drivers head.
My '05 PT manual says the power curtain is fused with the fantastic fans on fuse #8. I'm sure your Marquis is different from my PT.

Mine is in the 12 volt panel box in the rear bedroom closet. Good luck.

Thanks Bill and Fred.  My curtain is controlled by a multiplex switch.  If I understand this system, some of the multiplex switches control things like the lights through the PCM, while others directly operate relays for electrical items that have regular fuses in the 12 fuse distribution panel.  Am I correct here?

In any event, I have checked every fuse I can find, and my fans are all working, so I must have other problems.  There is no voltage at the wires that the curtain plugs in to.

You may already gone down this route. 

Attached is a diagram for 2007 Patriot and Marquis.

It looks like for '07, the curtain open & close functions are on the multiplex module 'A' (located in the bedroom closet). You can check the output on pins J3 1 & 2, also there are green LED indicators on the output pins and a separate fuse for both the open and close functions (on the multiplex module).

Thanks Scott and Steve.  Turns out the main Multiplex panel in my floor plan is in the bathroom.  Also turns out that there is another panel almost the same size in the cabinet above the drivers side window (who knew?).  The fuse block you showed in your diagram is in this second panel.  Testing everything down to the motor that pulls the curtain, it turns out that one of the thin wires threaded through the curtain has apparently broken.  Big relief.  Wire I can replace.  Motor, not so much.
