The system is firing up ok but the pumps are not circulating the fluid to the heat exchangers.
All the zones are blowing cold air.

Gary,
Are your thermostats switched to furnace mode? If not zone pumps will not work. Hope this helps, Frank.

I had the same issue on one zone two years ago. The certified Aqua Hot Tech in Paso Robles, CA had me open the bay and feel the two pipes coming out of the top of the unit. One was warm and one was cold. I lightly tapped the cold one near the base and it instantly started warming up. He told me there is a flapper valve at the base of each tube that sometimes sticks. The light tap freed it up. Has worked fine ever since.  Maybe a quick fix.

Leon’s right, Gary.  Over the years I’ve read several times here about that sticky valve and how simply tapping the pump as he describes resolves the issue, at least for awhile.

Hi Gary
I have had the same problem in the past
check that the thermostat is calling for heat at the relay you may find the relay is closing but the relay contacts don't make the connection inside the relay In my case being cheap I took the clear relay cover off and cleaned the silver contacts with brake clean and a paper match stick
every thing works fine now
something to look at anyway
good luck

Checked with BCS parts today and a new circ pump is about $200.
I did the tap on the pump last spring and it worked but the AH set all summer so now it sticks again.
