There are two 12VDC wires from/to the Engine Data Bus on the Aladdin VCSM.

Perhaps that would be a good place to fuse. Maybe the risk is on the "data bus" side.
What fuse rating do you think (5A)?

Mike, electronics is not my area of expertise however from all the 12volt printed circuit boards that I have had to change, most came with a 2amp up to 5amp ATC fuse. Examples would be an Atwood water heater, furnace, dometic & norcold refers and air conditioners. I am not a big fan of re-engineering someone else's product and I have no idea what kind of power it takes to drive data from one source to another. I guess a 2amp fuse would work? I need more qualified feed-back. Fred

Hey Fred, I'm not electronics wise either.
I'm just trying to address Dave's comments/concerns. Since these Aladdin systems are in hundreds, if not thousands, of Coaches and there don't seem to be many complaints about them damaging ECMs, I guess I'll just leave mine as is and take my chances.
