Surge Guard Monitor
« on: November 12, 2019, 11:04:15 PM »
I have a Surge Guard RV power monitor installed in my plumbing bay SS panel above the gray and black switch. The screen does not show any readout even when I switch it to the left or right nothing happens. Any ideas on the issue?

Is this the monitor you have?
It plugs in to the SurgeGuard with a telephone-like cable. I would check both ends to be sure the cable didn't come out or get knocked loose.

I will check both ends. I hope that is the issue.
Thanks

George, I am not sure which transfer relay/surge protector is currently in your unit. If it was replaced by the better model Surge guard 40350RVC-1 it is NOT compatible with the original remote display. The original transfer relay was replaced by a Surge Guard 41260 which has the remote that has no display. Hopefully as Mike states it is a simply fix by plugging the remote comm line back in. Fred
