No Hot Water
« on: June 10, 2020, 11:18:08 PM »
A couple days ago we ran out of hot water.  I found a breaker that had tripped so re-setting it took care of the problem.  Today, again we don't have hot water.  The breaker box looks fine so I'm not sure where to look next.  We're currently hooked up to 50 amp shore power.  Can someone please tell me where to start the process of finding the cause?  Thank you!

Check the Aqua Hot indicator panel for any error indicators. Reset the unit (use toothpick, etc) to access push button through a hole in the indicator panel. Try running on diesel if you need hot water urgently.

The fix ended up being a reset of the thermostat. I had to remove the cover of the aqua-hot (model 450-DE) and then remove a junction box cover to get to the thermostat reset. It was a very tight fit in there, more so than the attached picture, but there is a little white button that needed pressed to reset it. I pushed it a number of times because it didn't feel like it moved so I was skeptical this would work but it did. Attached is a picture of the location of the reset button (item #2).
