CARPETING
« on: July 03, 2020, 03:03:36 AM »

Greetings fellow members.  We are considering our flooring options for our 2009 Monterey Sunset.

We currently have mostly ceramic tile in bath, hallway and in the main cabin.   We also have carpeting along the driver's side of the main room and in all of the rear bedroom.  One option is to replace the carpet in both locations or we could perhaps replace carpet with vinyl tile?  What have y'all done in your coaches?  Is the carpet laid under cabinets or under the bed?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Dennis, I know in my 06 Patriot Thunder the cabinets are on top of the carpet, also couch, and both front seats. There has been a few in here that have redone the flooring in their coaches. From what I've heard one of the hardest parts is getting up the old carpet because it is glued down everywhere.
