New at this! Trying to find part numbers for front brakes on my 03PT. I've looked through the old posts and didn't find anything specific. I called Meritor and they need the actual part number from the brake shoes to get them. I know the front axle is a Dana E1200W according to the Data Card in the bathroom cabinet.

It's difficult to get an accurate part list together without pulling it apart - unless you have previously collected all the manufacture's model information.
Generally speaking;
The "Axle" make/model - gets you the axle to spindle parts (king pins, spindles, etc.)
The "Wheel End (Hub)" make/model - gets you the bearings and seals part numbers and adjustment procedures.
The "Brake Assembly" make/model - gets you the parts listing for the shoes/pads, calipers/rotors/drums, misc brake parts.
All three can be manufactured by different companies then fitted by the coach builder or chassis builder.
I checked the "Monaco Parts List" put out by the Monacoer's group, but they have no parts listing either.

Your 03 Thunder does not have the problematic Meritor ADB brakes. It uses the much longer lasting, but a little more expensive to repair, Bendix disc brakes. The average life expectancy for Meritor ADB brakes on the rear of a Marquis is about 40,000 miles and 80,000 on the front, but it is not uncommon to see the Bendix disc brakes run well over 150,000 miles.

Jerry, I would recommend getting the caliper casting p/n. Take that to NAPA or other heavy duty parts house. They can provide replacemen brake pads. Good luck

I ya e told previously that my coach has drum. I know the difference in a car so may be able to tell. I will look and see if I can and get back to the forum. Thanks

Just to update --- Jerry and I removed the front drums and identified the parts.
For his 2003 Patriot Thunder he has the Bendix (Spicer) ES-150-4L brake assemblies.
It looks like the "EB" (Standard: FMSI #1308) and "ES" (Extended Service: FMSI #1443) brake linings are interchangeable. I'm not sure about that - but we know on Jerry's coach that he has the ES (from the part number tag on the shoes). There is a difference in the linings (the ES is a tapered lining and the EB are uniform thickness) so I don't know why anyone would use the EB lining if they have a choice. Maybe someone know more about the benefits of either type.
