I believe the vin number is stamped into the outer side of the drivers side frame rail at the front under the drivers station .
The build date however should be on the id plate or sticker inside the coach just behind the drivers area.

I don't know about the chassis info, but the build location, date and VIN placard is affixed to the aft end of the console located on the left side of the pilot's seat.

I have a 2006 Monterey Ventura IV that I have owned for 10 years.  Somewhere on that coach is a metal tag pop-riveted to the coach that identifies the chassis build date and identifies it as a Roadmaster "M" chassis.  I have forgotten where that tag is located and I cannot find it.  My failing memory is frustrating me.  Can anyone who knows where they are located point me in the right direction?  Thanks.

  You stated that everything is original equipment other than the portable Playmaker Satellite dish. Are you controlling the sound with the Bose Lifestyle DVD-home theater remote? Did it work in the past and recently stopped working? Everything with an audio output originally from the factory went thru the Bose system. This includes the dash radio, front tv, vcr, XM radio and satellite. Enclosed is a pix of my remote control and the dedicated buttons that activated the inputs. It was that way when I bought it 12 years ago. Please advise, Thanks Fred

So one thing you didn't mention in your original post was what Dish receiver is connected to your Dish antenna, which outputs are you using on your Dish receiver and where do they go? I'm sure you know this as you're getting video, but keep in mind your Playmaker Dish is only the antenna and it needs a compatible Dish receiver to give either HDMI or composite video output. Also, the Sony Aquos does not have built in Dish receiver and its coax is over the air antenna input. You mentioned your system is all original - does that include the Dish portion?

I installed Winegard Dish roof antenna and Wally receiver with new RG-6 coax on my 2005. Dish recommends RG-6 coax and some older installs use RG-59. Also, you have to bypass the TV/Cable coax splitter/amp in the coach and run RG-6 from dish antenna to dish receiver as it's not compatible with Dish system.

Just an FYI, the original Sharp Aquos in our 06 PT is dual tuner. The tuners are separate and require separate or Y’d connections to the antenna. Originally, only the analogue tuner was connected.

Original equipment TV means you’d need a converter box to receive modern digital broadcasts.  You may then be dealing with multiple volume controls, as I do on several of my old home TVs where conflict between the converter and TV causes a slight audio buzz.  This week, finally, we are getting rid of the home bedroom TV that was the side speaker Sharp originally out of the coach, and its cantankerous converter box, in favor of a Sony smart TV.  No more buzzing audio. The audio carrier is broadcast on a separate carrier wave from the video.  If you are tossing in a satellite system and a DVD receiver/Bose unit for audio to transect, I’m not surprised there’s an issue. 

It may be time to upgrade the TV to a digital smart one, ditching the converter as we did in our coach (both TVs) 10 years ago.  As I recall it provided previously unavailable hookup options (HDMI?) as well as a far better picture, but we also upgraded the DVD changer as well for the same reasons.  A professional may cost some bucks, but from our experience it was worth it, and they did a great job modifying cabinetry to the larger screen formats in the process.

   On page 179 of the owner's manual it states that you have a Bose Lifestyle home theatre unit. Is that true? If so, it is not uncommon for the display on the front of the unit to go dim. It is also easy to accidently chose another input from the Bose remote. Did you change the batteries in the Bose remote recently? If the Dish receiver and sound system were operational and then you lost the sound only I would look there. Hope this helps. Blessings, Fred
