Title: Remodel living area, 2008 contessa
Post by: Kent Walton on March 29, 2018, 05:35:55 PM
I would like to make the following changes to our 2008, 42' Beaver, Contessa---1. remove the road side couch and replace with two recliners and possibly a small desk. 2. replace the existing dining booth with one that Newmar (I think) offers that has an electric seat extension that increases the seating to 6 pax. Questions--Has anyone made any of these changes?  Does anyone have experience with a company who do a good job with these type of changes, AND, would be located in Oregon, Washington or Calif?

Try Bend Or service providers Beaver Coach Sales & Service and  RV Outfitters

Kent,
Jim Sizemore at RV Outfitters (http://www.rvoutfitters.net/default.aspx?p=services&i=Television) in Bend Oregon (across the street from Beaver Coach Sales) would be the first place that I would talk to about the modifications that you mentioned. RV remodeling is about the only thing that he does, and he works closely with Greg Fulton (master Beaver cabinet maker next door). Between the two of them, they can make any changes that you want, and make it look like that is the way that the coach was originally built.

Ditto re Jim and Greg in Bend.  We and many others here have used their services with great results.  BCS across the street is awesome also, but harder to schedule.

Jim Sizemore and Greg Fulton did a wonderful job on our '04 Monterey a few years ago.
