Post by: neil omalley on August 18, 2018, 06:34:03 AM
Anyone know where the program switch might be located? And what does it look like? Thanks.

The locations seems to vary, but is often located after removing the magazine holder or other panel or cup holder next to the copilots seat.  This gives access to the vicinity of the keypad’s back.  Others have found them under the dash access panel in front of the steering wheel.

You may glean insight via this thread:    http://beaveramb.org/forum/index.php/topic,4296.msg32508.html#msg32508

There are two in my coach. The program button for the exterior key pad is behind the magazine rack next to passenger seat. Once you remove the rack you can reach into the opepining and there will be loose wiring, one with a button.  The program button for the key fobs is under the dash beneath the removable center panel. I have a photo of the unit for the key fobs where you can see the button in upper left. There is also an LED light coming off this unit (as I previously asked here what this was for).
I dont know if the program button from the exterior keypad or the one located under the dash will work to program both keypad and fobs. I have not had to do any programming yet.

Thanks all. Mike, reading the literature on the web from Essex leads me to believe that red light would blink if it was attached to an alarm system.
