Title: Living Room Slide
Post by: Ron Langdon on May 06, 2015, 05:38:41 AM
When I put the living room slide in this morning, the bottom sealed tight as usual. However, the top was not sealed and out about 1-2". I gave it a second try with the same result. I searched slide alignment, and found some comments from Gerald about rollers. I got the impression from that search that the issue there was alignment from side to side. Mine is from top to bottom. Same issue???

      Hi Ron,

Sounds like you may have an obstruction at the top of the slide. Have you extended the slide and looked up top? Could be a window awning issue or tree branch fell on top. The fact that it came all the way in at the bottom means you have full travel from the mechinism moving the room. Proper sequence when closing has the top engaging the side wall first and the bottom pulling in right after.
        Regards, Fred

Thanks, Fred, I'll go topside and take a look.
