Title: HWH 6 soleniod block
Post by: Fred Brooks on September 04, 2020, 02:39:09 AM
    Greetings Folks,
I am in the process of fixing air leaks in my leveling system. The part number on the side of the block is AP 11239. I am looking for the O-ring kit for both blocks. As I recall, Mike Shumack rebuilt his blocks about a year ago. Maybe someone has the kit part number and how long to receive them. Thanks for your help, Fred

I replaced all the o-rings in my rear HWH units (Tag and Drive axle 6-packs).
Oddly, HWH only sells two of the tree o-rings needed to reseal these.

I found an article on rebuilding these valves on the old Foretravel site, and used the part numbers he provided. I ordered from Grainger.
I have plenty left over. If you want I can send you some - or if it's easier/faster, order on-line from Grainger (you have to get 25 or 50 minimum, depending on size, if you order from them).

Thanks Mike, my local parts supply house had all of them in stock. The issue on my block was corrosion on the aluminum block. There is about .001 gap between the aluminum block and the brass housings that screws into it. Salt water got into that gap and the corrosion migrated under the outer o-ring. A little 600 wet and dry sand paper dressed that. 20 years and 80,000 miles keeps us rubbing on Her to keep her purring.
