Title: Service recommendation in central New Jersey
Post by: Bryan Beamon on September 08, 2015, 02:45:35 AM
We need to replace our refrigerator or just the cooling unit and traveling thru New Jersey. We have a Norcold 1200LR unit. We need a rv repair recommendation. Any thoughts on where to go?

Brian,
You might try this place, it had excellent ratings in RV Service Reviews.  Not making a recommendation just providing possible source based on reviews.

Nick Badame Refrigeration

website:  http://nbadame.com/

Their website appears to be associated with Atlantic Custom Coach (609) 465-3285 or (609) 263-2296.  This might be where they do their RV work.
It website (www.atlanticcustomcoach.com) says it's 20 miles south of Atlantic City, Exit 13 on the Garden State Parkway.

Good Luck,
Bruce

Bryan - You know the problem is the fridge's cooling unit?  What about the recall device or the main board?  I have replaced the main board with a Dinosaur board (cheaper and longer warranty than the Norcold board) once and the recall device twice in the past ten months.

Bryan,
I have had the same issues with my 1200LRIM....cooling unit was replaced three years ago, then I have had the recall high temp box replaced two times since then.

Also the last time the black box was blinking it was the temp sensor that had quit working.

Thanks Lamont and David for  your thoughts. My cooling unit is dripping amoninia so the unit is toast. It looks like I will drive to Bowling Green  Kentucky and have a new cooling  unit  installed. We still work part time for Camping World as Ambassadors so the price is right.Life on the road is always an adventure.
