Title: Information about Quantum System Hydronic heating (Found it)

Helping a friend buy a Beaver  Patriot.  Looking at a 2000 which has a Rixen Enterprises  Quantum 55-XLT system. Seller (2nd owner) believes this was factory installed.  Any information about the good or bad of this system over the more common Aqua Hot is appreciated.

Once I searched for company name Rixen's Enterprises found a load of information.  Thanks Forum

Bob,
The 2000 Patriot came with a Hurricane Hydronic heating system with a 6 gallon electric water heater. Beaver never used the Quantum system as an OEM installation. Therefore, the Quantum unit was an aftermarket installation, most likely done by Rixen to replace a problematic Hurricane.

Thank you Gerald.  That is what it appears to be in this case.  Done within the last 5 years at a cost of little over 3k.  Sound right ?
