Anyone make sense of these numbers?
Other than "normal", it is Greek to me.

Richard , I can help you with understanding your oil sample report. Yes , we are giving out oil sample bottle at FMCA seminars and provide membership with guidance. Your first line of defense with engine problems start first with oil sampling. This past two years have provided many success stories on prevention of engine failure. Question is this your first oil sample taken this sets up what is called a base line, each additional oil sample taken sets up a particle count. The particle count numbers increasing will indicate something is wearing and can be repaired before major failure. Dave Atherton Retired Cat Mechanic.
