Post by: Tom Csibor on February 13, 2023, 12:56:07 AM
I meedvto replace the brush pack for this generator in a 2000 Beaver Marquis. Has anyone done this job? Did you have to remove the generator?

Tom,
Where is you generator located?  Mine is on a slide in the front.  I had to run the slide out, take off the front panel and then unbolt the generator, disconnect the electrical lines and fuel.  That allowed me to pick the generator up with a fork lift and take it away from the MH.  If It is in a side compartment I as sure it is also somewhat like that, but probably tighter.

Hopefully this is somewhat helpful.  Just remember that they got it in there, it will come out.

Tom,
To remove the one in our 2000 Marquis the shop raised the geni just enough to clear the bottom brace and then slid it out. Used jacks and a fork lift. I don't remember if they removed the bay door for clearance.
