Title: Multiplex lighting
Post by: Dan Murphy on January 14, 2019, 06:34:39 PM
I have one button on the driver side multiplex switch that is not working. The under cabinet lights do not come on when the switch is pressed. The indicator light comes on but none of the puck lights.

I removed the cover and found all the wires intact and all the bulbs in the fixtures are tight but no lights.

Looking in the cabinet whereto modules are located I can't see anything that says under cabinet lights and don't know is a fuse or not.

Has anyone had this happed and does anyone have a suggestion where to look??

Dan,
It's usually a dirty switch panel. Try cleaning. No fuses, just the multiplex modules. Output is pin 10 of module D if wired same as 07-08 coaches.

Dan -Steve,

Do your multiplex output modules not contain fuses? All of the multiplex lighting circuits on our coach are fused at the multiplex output module (part of the module).  When I had a blown fuse the amber pilot light (at the switch plate) illuminated but no lighting.

Dan there are small stand off screws between the buttons and plate. Check for correct alignment and spring tension on screws. It solved our similar problem.
