Title: Sharp Microwave Turntable Motor Repair
Post by: Bill Sprague on December 11, 2014, 12:35:29 AM
There are a lot of Sharp Convection Microwaves in Beavers.  The turntable motor on our quit after making some uncomfortable noise.   Turns out it is easy to repair.  A guy with a '04 Monaco made a video of it.

We replaced our Sharp with a GE Profile Convection/Microwave several years ago and have no regrets.  The GE keeps temperature better, has a stainless steel interior and has built in hooks for a pair of steel racks which make it possible to bake more than one item at a time.  Rather than repairing old Sharp's you might want to consider a replacement.
