A Beaver without a functioning ice maker is plain wrong.
I've done a full defrost, checked for water at the valve, unplugged and plugged each wire and primed the ice tray with a turkey baster (it was bone dry).
Now my fingers are crossed.

HI Bill we had the same issue last year and had to buy a new one, it cost around 80. and can be changed out. I had the guys at Beaver Coach do it

patience. Ours takes the better part of a day to come to life, then keeps producing ice till the pile of cubes raises the shut-off bar.

Bill,
Failure of the ice maker in your model coach is not uncommon. You can purchase a replacement unit from several sources and replace it yourself, or have someone else replace it for you.

I have an identical standby unit in the condo that came out of a Kenmore fridge - just in case!

Hallelujah, it has healed itself. The clunks and short following swish have returned. After 48 hours of abstinence, the ice cubes have returned and there is still 8 hours remaining until martini time! Except for the weather, life is good in the Beaver again.
