Title: Is hydraulic slide speed adjustable?
Post by: Richard Davis on May 22, 2019, 07:08:36 PM
I have an '06 Monterey Ventura IV (4 slides).  The passenger side rear slide moves too fast both extending and retracting.  The previous owner had a tire blowout that took out the hydraulic lines to that slide.  The repair facility ran new lines rather than even trying to repair the originals.  It all works just fine.  BUT, i would really like to slow it's movement down.  It moves at least twice as fast as the other three slides.  Is there any way to regulate the volume of hydraulic fluid transmitted from the pump through those lines to that slide?  Thanks!

You can add a Flow Valve.
Something like this: https://www.hydracheck.com/catalog/flow-products/flow-control-valves/
