Title: outside TV
Post by: Dan Murphy on January 25, 2015, 09:19:09 PM
On our Contessa there is a 110 outlet and a cable connector in the bay in front of the propane bay. I thought it would be a connection for a TV and if I used the antenna on the roof I might get a signal but I can't get any type of signal at all.
I have the inside tv operating on the antenna and I have the switch turned on for antenna use rather than sat.
What am I missing?? What could this outlet in the basement be for if not TV??
Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dan

On my 06 Patriot Thunder they had all the coax's messed up and connected incorrectly. The basement coax was not connected to anything and still isn't. Have to run it out of the Dish DVR through a switch for the air antenna another project to get to.

You may find the cable bundled up behind the switch box. I found many cables not connected behind when I removed the box while re-doing my TV's and DVD players and removing VCR's.

Just a thought.

The bay coax connect is sometimes used for cable tv

It could be either cable hook up or not connected at all. As it was with many Beaver coaches.
