Title: fuel tank compacity

have a 2009 Beaver Contessa Roma, At 79 gal. I received a low fuel reading on dash readout. All info says 130 gal tank. Anyone  experiance this that has correct info ?

If you have access to your tank, you can measure the width X length X height to get "gross cubic inches". divide by 231 to get gross gallons. Subtract 10% for construction and air space will get you real close. Fred

Check the ground at the tank. The gauge reading is based on resistance to ground. Page 260 of your Owner's Manual states 130 gallons.

My fuel tank has a tag or label ( I cannot remember which) that stated the fuel capacity..

Roy, mine says 148 gallons!!   Chuckle!!  Actually spray-painted on the tank.
