Title: Shower/Kitchen faucets slow draining
Post by: Jason Worman on March 15, 2019, 04:45:45 AM
Hi everyone,

So the shower and kitchen sink are draining slow, any products or procedures that anyone has used to help clean the grey tanks? Do you just run a hose down the shower and flush the tanj?

Thank you,

Jason

If both are draining slow, then maybe the same cause. Perhaps a clogged tank (roof) vent.

Also on my coach, there are "auto vents" one at sink and one at shower, that allow air to enter drain pipe for faster drainage (and to keep p-trap from siphoning dry). If the vent was stuck open you could get grey tank odor and if stuck closed, you could have slow draining. So check those too.

Jason,
The only reason that I have ever had slow running drains, especially the shower, is from hair that gets stuck on the cross bars in the drain fixture. I take a straightened paperclip with a hook bent into one end and insert it into the drain to remove the hair.
