You are a mind reader. I joined earlier today after stumbling on to the forum. There are several owners with this vorad issue. I was going to suggest if Mr. Youngblood doesn't work on these units anymore,  perhaps he would consider selling or donating the software and interface cables to the club. I see from posts that there was an example or two of reprogramming units obtained from eBay. I have 2 enroute but they will likely be worthless unless programmed. Of course,  I would only advocate acquiring software, cables, etc as long as there is no infringement on IP and completely legal.

With hydraulics my coach does this. One rear jack has very small leak and maybe once a day i will feel and hear a pretty loud bump. I'm just assuming it's the coach settling. Where I'm at now its pretty level so I just dumped the air and didn't put jacks down for about a week at first and no thumps. The bumps/thuds only show up when I decided to hydraulic level due to slight wind movement. So pretty sure it's the jack, but you could also have seals or valves leaking at the manifold at the pump.

What bums me out is that's a brand new jack as my previous jack got torqued with unstable base and wouldn't fully retract - it doesn't take much with this heavy coach. But last fall I was at a new park that had a lot of non compacted deep gravel and even though I had a good sized 1.5" thick , 18" square plywood pad under the jack, the gravel still settled funny under the  jack and it must have still got torqued a bit because it starting leaking after that night and won't retract that last inch anymore. The leak is very small - just enough to wet the pad over a couple weeks. I've heard they are sealed and it's pretty extensive to replace the seals. So as careful as I thought I was being - it wasn't good enough.

BTW, I use a SnapPad on the front jack as it is harder to get my plywood pad under the center of the coach (3 jack design) and that jack has lots of ground clearance for the additional thickness for the SnapPad. Highly recommend.

Nor sure about hydraulic jack systems but an air bag system automatically adjusts every so often if the system detects a slight out of level condition which is normal if you are parked for an extended time. May want to check your owners or hydraulic system manuals. If that's not the case and a single jack is settling the system should detect an out of level condition at some point.

I really don’t have any idea concerning the different numbers. Hopefully Rick will get back with you. Over on the Monacoers forum this topic was brought up and presented to a couple of the forum gurus about trying to figure out how to repair these CPU’s. As of now, no solutions have been presented. You might consider joining this forum, lots of really good info concerning Monaco motorhomes! If your coach has the Kongsberg CCM, one of these guys has recently figured out how to repair this system, saving several motorhomes from the scrap yard. He has developed some safeguards to protect the CCM from failure. Well worth your time! Good luck!

Boy you were not kidding about the CPU being behind a bunch of wires! I did locate and remove. My unit has a number 80628-164 and the label says replace with the same number. I see several used units on Ebay with the same core number (80628) but different suffix numbers. like -161, etc. Do you have any idea what the difference is? I assume that suffix number matches up with what is was originally programmed for. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Unfortunately, Rick Youngblood has not responded to my email as yet. I'm sure he could clear this up in short order. Cheers.

We have a 2008 Beaver Patriot Thunder (Brandywine) and have been parked and leveled for a couple of months. Everything has been running pretty smoothly, but when we get up inside the coach and move a lot of times there is a sort of "bump" and a slight movement in the coach- like it is settling. The hydraulics are down and we are level. The bump is sometimes barely noticeable but occasionally it feels like the whole coach has moved. Has anyone ever experienced this? I have checked and all 3 hydraulics are touching down. Any thoughts would be appreciated!  Thanks Ante

The CPU is back behind the cluster of wires, mounted to the wall, making it difficult to see. Keep looking, it is more than likely there. Removing the pilot seat makes the job a lot easier. As far as programming, Rick told me that the two new ones I received were updated with the newest updates. The ones on E-bay, from what I was told, are programmed for trucks and would be difficult to adapt to our motorhomes. Might ask Rick if that is something that might be possible. Good luck!

Hi Frank. Thanks for the prompt reply. I did send Rick an email earlier hoping he could help. Haven't heard anything yet. I thought I looked thoroughly for the cpu where it should be but I didn't see it. I'll look again tomorrow morning. Beaver coach sales, Mike thought it was located elsewhere but couldn't remember where.  I see numerous units on ebay but assume they would need specific re-programming. That might kill the project. Did you need to reprogram your 2 units? Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Take care. Mike

On my 07’ Marquis, it is located inside the left side switch cluster just to the left of the pilot seat. As of now, there are none available. Rick Youngblood was the go to, but last I heard, all of his stock is gone. I have replaced mine twice, so knock on wood, it keeps working. You can get the Cruise Control to work if you cycle the on/off switch 3 times, but the Collision Avoidance System will not work. Not the news you wanted to hear, but at least the CC will still operate. Good luck!

Hello. I have a 2008 Beaver Marquis. I was hoping someone would know the location of the Eaton Vorad EVT 300 CPU. I believe it has failed and would also like to knwo if anyone has a suggestion on replacement or repair. Thank you
