Generator slide has been out for several days while fixing lights and now won’t go in

Dale,
Check the 60A fuse in the rear electrical bay.

Where is that rear electric?

Can’t find rear electric bay. Any others place that fuse ma be? Any way to manually get it in?

Dale the thermal breaker that controls the gen slide could be you problem. It is located next to your hydrolic pump against the wall and slightly above the pump. We have tripped this breaker on our Contessa in the past. The pump is located above the aqua hot in our coach

Dale,
Last bay on the passenger side. Open the small door and you will see a number of "ANL" style fuses in the range of 60-200 amps. The ones on the right side as you are looking at the bay are of interest. There should be a 60 and a 200 amp. Make sure both are good. If they are, try operating the front slides. They run off the same hydraulic pump as the generator. The pump is located above the Hydro Hot on the front wall of the front passenger side bay. If fuses are good and slides don't operate, you may have a bad pump or bad thermal breaker. It is located on the wall at about the middle of the pump. If you have 12v on the back side terminal of the breaker but not on the front side terminal, when the slide switch is pushed, the thermal breaker is probably bad. But, check to see the generator slide switch is working if the room slides work.

Will start that now. I have voltage at the switch in the front bay.

Steve: I cannot thank you enough. We were really stuck in a bad situation with full tanks and unable to move. My nephew was able to reach in and find the thermal breaker. Why it tripped is another question as the replacement process. We are able to get underway.

Byron: Thank you also. Your answer was right on.
