Does anyone owning a 42 ft Marquis have a problem with the front cap flexing and causing a problem with the windshield either cracking or coming out of seal?

The upper left corner (upper street side) corner of my windshield has broken its seal. If I level the coach using hydraulics on a left or right tilted pad, then a gap will open in that upper corner. The reason is because of the three hydraulic point leveling system. The two jacks in the back have to do the side-to-side leveling for the whole length of the coach, and that causes the coach to twist somewhat. When I take off the leveling the gap closes and has not been a problem thus far.

No data but I have often heard that using jacks rather than air for leveling can put significant strain on the windshield.

Use the air leveling first with slides out. Then touch the hydraulics jacks to the ground only front two first,then back two , to stabilize. . Do not raise the coach more than an inch. No problems so far.
I learned the hard way after cracking a windshield using the hydraulic jacks to level the coach.

We dont have this problem in the Marquis. We did have this problem in the 98 Pat.
Rv glass solutions had the fix. The problem was in mfg. The windshield flange had been cut too small to support the gasket without glueing properly the last time we replaced the windshield, the installer was getting instruction direct from RV Glass Solutions by phone. They had him glue the gasket around the corners and then the windshield top and bottom and sides (I believe I am remembering this right).
We went through storms and un level pads and all but never lost another windshield.

Our Monterey did that when only a few months old and it happened slowly while parked in storage; a slow leaking corner airbag didn't help. I learned not to twist the body during air leveling, and to store on relatively level ground with air dumped.
But the main cause was found when Monaco warranty service in Coburg found the windshield hadn't been mounted properly at the factory, which mirrors Keith's experience. I've yet to hear of a bad experience by way of RV Glass Solutions, and have recommended them here with great results.

We had an '04 Marquis Garnet and the windshield had to be reset twice for that very problem. We did not have jacks only air leveling but did a lot of dry camping on unlevel ground. The last time and the best repair was done in Wildwood FL at what is now Alliance Coach. I thinks Keith's advise is right on at Alliance they glued the corners first and then set the glass and asked us to stay 24hrs without moving the coach to let the adhesive set. That seemed to work. This was several years ago and we traded for a newer Marquis in '08. The windshield and cabinet delaminating was the only significant problems we experienced with the '04. I miss the fuel mileage we got around 8mpg or better in the 04.
