Title: Alladin tank calibration.
Post by: Bob Morgan on July 29, 2021, 07:05:01 PM
Howdy,

I’m new here. I recently bought a new-to-me 2003 Beaver Monterey 37 Seacliff With Cummins 8.3/Allison 3000. I’m having trouble calibrating the Tank Status. All tanks show 255 even though they’re currently empty. The tank calibration screen will not allow me to change anything or input raw data values. I have no other tank monitor so I’m stuck. Ideas?

Thanks

Bob

Bob, The tanks are pretty easy to set up, here is a video by AZ Expert changing sensors and re-cal the system to read correctly.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToJz9LifIuI&ab_channel=AZExpert

I watched the video but my system is older and as I mentioned it will not allow me to change the values on the calibration screen.

The 2003 Aladdin Tank Level Interface Module Calibration Procedure is located in Coach Assist along with a number of other Aladdin procedures and manuals.

Are you able to get to the screen where you enter the code to unlock the system? Another thing you might try is reboot you Alladin somewhere in the coach there will be a switch to turn off the power to the system.

Where is the Coach Assist section? I’m still finding my way around here. Thanks.

Bob, George Harwell here, 03 Monterey Seacliff. Call me at 405 642 0389 and I'll try to walk you through it. The black and gray sensors are buried behind the water bay panel so we will concentrate on the fresh tank first. That sensor is normally OK. If we can get the system working with fresh water then we can proceed to the next. The fresh tank is in the second bay forward of the right rear wheels.
