So, this dang Magnaloy adapter between the Hydraulic Pump and 3126 PTO shredded itself in the No.Cal Mountains…. Have a new one on order but …..gosh, that’s another $500 ..So be it…however…the roadside guys who helped me move to a safe place indicated the engine ‘jumped’ upon start. He was concerned that a loose or broken motor mount may be the root cause of this one’s failure. It appears out of align….but it’s also been grinding it’s teeth for a couple miles as slowed and moved to park.
My question is, is this something I can check and see if they are …and potentially replace myself or do I need a shop to do lifting?
Follow up does anyone have guidance or pics from the locations of where this thing mounts to the frame.?
Thanks
Ron

In the coach assist section under the older safari 1994-- 2001 section .under ( miscellaneous diagrams and fixes )
If you read down through that section you will find an article on the alignment procedure for the magnaloy coupler it also shows the rear motor mount.
Hope this helps

Click the blue link at the top right of this page
Then click the ( technical )title
On the drop down menu click ( coach assist )
Click on the first title ( brochures for most all beaver coaches )
Go to the top left of that page there should be three lines click on them and a drop down menu will appear.
From the drop down menu click on the ( Safari motor coach corporation ( 1994 to 2001 )
On this page the fourth from the bottom title is ( miscellaneous diagrams and fixes )
You will find the the coupler information about half way down that page.
Hope this helps

You should be able to replace a motor mount by using a hydraulic jack to lift the engine from below
Be careful and ( DO NOT JACK ON THE OIL PAN)
