Title: Alarm from LCD display
Post by: Brad Barnes on June 15, 2018, 02:00:19 AM
My LCD has a warning that the front air pressure is low but I have checked and it is fine. I replace with the rear sensor and I still get the same warning and alarm noise. I am traveling any way to turn the alarm off? 2009 Monaco Beaver Contessa 42. The sensors and the back of the LCD say Medallion on them.

Thanks for any help.

Are you talking tire pressure or the coach air system?  TPMS systems have alarms as do the coach air system.

is this the unit you have?
If so, there is a manual here (starting about page 7).  https://www.rvtechlibrary.com/electronics/mmdc_owners.pdf

Brad must be talking about his TPMS system, David.  https://automotix.com/auto_body_parts/1989-eagle-medallion-tools_garage-tpms409s-product.html

I guess I’d unpower the monitor and contact the mfr. for advice and a set of instructions, perhaps what Mike supplied in the link with his photo.  There is a Medallion Instruments company that makes motorhome panel products, and I didn’t see TPMS among them, but Mike’s info implies they at least at one time did.
