The Black square door handle on the outside of the entry door is startling to crack. Can anyone tell me who makes ( made?) it, or where I can get one?
-
I bought one from Monaco a couple of years ago. I've heard they aren't so easy to deal with after REV bought them though. They appear to be pretty generic. Camping World or an RV place will probably have one.

I bought a replacement for my '05. It is a TriMark handle. I'll see if I can find the receipt (Seller) in case you have the same one.
Does this look like your handle? http://www.trimarkcorp.com/en/zPlatform.aspx?platformid=14&categoryid=12

We had to replace the door handle a few years ago too. TriMark rings a bell. We got the new replacement from BCS in Bend.

We needed a new handle and locking mechanism several years back and I called Mike at Beaver Coach Sales and he found me an exact match for my coach.

Yes, Mike. That’s the one. I’ll call them this AM. Thanks to all!

I'm pretty sure I did not buy directly from TriMark - but I have not found my receipt yet. It seems to me that the manufacturers usually charge more than third-party retailers. A third-party retailer may sell cheaper because this is "old stock". You could try Googling "TriMark 030-0450".
In the case of this door handle, the link I provided says that handle has been replaced with a newer model (030-1450) (more rounded edges). If that newer model fits the opening nicely (covers the unpainted edges around the opening), then you may want to consider going with the newer model. I think it is better looking and it may have some internal improvements.

Just had a conversation with a woman in TriMark sales. She insists that “030-0450’ is a series number and that there are many handles in that series. She wanted a part number. she insists that I would have to photo the back of the door handle before she could send me a part. If you happen to find your receipt, I would appreciate the part number, if you can find it..

Bob,
the handle I bought is TriMark p/n 13438-04. The invoice description is "TriMark RV Door Lock 13438-04, Black"
I got it from PRVParts www.PRVPart.com on 12/28/17 for $41.00 (order #55671 in case that helps).
Good luck

Mike,
My door latch was getting very hard to open the door the last month. I glad I found your post! I purchased the door latch directly from TriMark. It was the exact door latch for my coach. Thank you.

This topic is a few years old but I'd like to ask if the handle described is compatible with a door with latches at the top and bottom. I need a new handle but I also see there is a TriMark 030-1450 2 point handle. I want to be sure to order the correct one. BCS quoted me a price of $170 which is much more than a TriMark (the original part manufacture) with shipping on top of that.
Thanks
MJ

I replaced the latch on my coach with TriMark RV Door Lock 22660-04 (Replacement for 13438-04) and it does control top and bottom latches. I also decided just to cut an access hole (and install a plug) to have access to the latch mechanism and to avoid having to pull the door apart to replace. More info in this post.

I recently replaced my entry door handle and found a new u tube video on how to properly adjust the upper and lower latches very informative as it is easy to over tighten these latches. The video is for a 2007 Monaco Dynasty.

Thanks so much Gene & Bryan!

Jerry, sorry have not figured out how to copy link on my phone to attach a u tube url to the Beaver forum . I simply went onto the u tube app and put in Monaco door latch.
