Title: replacing pwr steering/cooling fan hydraulic pump.
Post by: Rick Daniels on October 01, 2022, 05:23:05 PM
I need to repair or replace the Sauer Danfoss pump type #C25.7/23.0L35273182150.  I have located a Dynamic LTD pump type number
C25.7/123.0L35896160150.  All exterior measurements and characteristics are the same.  The only difference is the type number.  My old Danfoss pump powers the engine cooling fan and power steering on a cat C-12 engine.  Is there any reason the Dynamic pump wont do the same and if not why?  How do I decipher the type number?  Thank you for your help.

Rick,

Saur-Danfoss is now Dynamatic. White House Products in the UK may be able to help you decipher the different type numbers. https://www.whitehouseproductsltd.com/company/contact-us They were very helpful when I had to replace a switch valve and thermo wax valve on my ‘07 Marquis. Hope this helps.

I went through this issue recently on my 1998 Marquis. My pump had a leak. Northwest RV supply in Eugene Or was able to source a new pump from England. Pump was a match and leak is fixed.
