Title: basement TV mount in 2008 Marquis
Post by: Mike Shumack on September 18, 2018, 01:04:44 PM
Hi everyone,
I received an e-mail from member James M. looking for information on his 2008 Marquis.

He said he has a basement mounted TV which is on a powered TV mount, and he needs info on the mount (specifically the motor manufacturer/part-number). I'm not sure why James didn't ask here (maybe he did and I missed it). If anyone has info on this TV mount mechanism, I would be happy to provide to James - or direct him here.

So is this a Beaver "factory installed" powered TV mount?

I did not see mention of this in the 2008 Marquis brochure. And we have no info/manuals on the 08 Marquis in the tech library.

I misunderstood and thought it was the TV lift in the ceiling.  Sent those to Steve.  Sorry!

Coach Assist now contains instructions for overhead TV mounts starting in 2004, thanks to Jerry Emert and Mike Shumack

Has anyone seen a basement TV in a Beaver? Was this an option from Beaver - or did previous owner install an aftermarket lift.

Our Marquis is wired for a basement entertainment center of some sort.  There are plug wires, a 110v receptacle, and Bose speakers in that one compartment aft of the AquaHot.  I haven't looked close enough to know whether the wires are for a TV or radio, or both.
