Title: Kwikee Super Slide II drive roller
Post by: Paul Aronson on January 21, 2020, 06:58:04 PM
My Kwikee Super Slide Tray II will no longer extend and /or retract electrically. The drive motors run but the tray does not move. Found the urithane covering on the drive rollers has broken off (see attached). The replacement drive rollers are available as p/n Mt376640 but they are $75 each and 4 are required.

Does anybody have a source to get the existing rollers "recovered" or a source for the roller that is a little more reasonable?

Might want to check Grangers of McMaster Carr for an alternative roller. I checked 3 salvage outfits (NW RFV supply, ColawRV, Visone) and no joy.

So far one urethane mfg can "recast" the urathane covering but the minimum cost per custom order is $750.

Do you know the cause of wear.  I have two trays.  One functions fine and the other has lost the rubber twice.  The one that works ok has the rail that runs the length able to free float, even though it looks like it should be tightened.  The one that wears has that adjustment locked tight.  There is about 1/4" of play.  Does anyone know if this should be free floating or locked and the proper method to adjust.  Don't want to replace the rollers only to have them wear out.
