Title: ATC and ABS warning intermittently, momentarily coming on
Post by: Chris Hempel on November 03, 2020, 09:40:28 PM
While just driving down the highway the ATC and ABS warning lights come one, the gauges wig out and the seat belt warning light starts flashing. This lasts for ~1sec +/-, then the ABS and ATC dash lights fade out and everything seems perfectly normal except that the seat belt light continues to flash for about a minute then goes out. This happened 2-3 times on my last four hour run. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas?

Chris,
I'm far from an expert in this area but suspect that your ABS/ATC problem could be caused by a dirty or misaligned ABS sensor. I'm pretty sure the ATC system gets it's info from the ABS system, which would explain both warning indicators. Not clear about all dash gauges comment. Do they all blink out or? That could indicate different problem.
