Description: What a great stop! Driving along the Glenn Highway we could see the Matanuska Glacier off to the right, and saw a sign that said “Glacier View Park.” We drove down a very steep road, across a scary old wooden bridge and got to the office. After paying ($15 for camping and $15 per person to walk on the glacier), he sent us out a gravel road and up a minor cliff to a gorgeous dirt lot, all to ourselves, overlooking the glacier.
