So i decided to replace two more of the 6 volt batteries in my battery tray and discovered that the slide on one side wouldn't work. So than i discover the tray somehow was expanded by battery acid from previous owner and bent the angle iron and pushed in between them and battery will not fit in the tray. Anyone had to address this issue?
Thanks Rick

Battery trays are available from Kwikee, now owned by Lippert. Or:

I was able to refurbish my battery tray for around $30 in paint and I think around $100 for new slides.

Thank you for your replies. I decided to take batteries out and cut the old slides out and going to reweld new angle iron in for the supports than will weld in new glides etc. After i will paint with por15.
Thank you
Rick

I'm sure glad that our coach 06 PT has AGM batteries, battery compartment just a bit dusty, no acid and no maintenance to do.

Yep, I switched over to AGMs after the refurbishment and never looked back!
