Are after coolers standard equipment on the C-12 engine ?

John,
Yes, all Beaver coaches with the C12 engine are equipped with an air to air cooler, for the intake air, after the turbocharger.

After the early 80's all diesel engines  :oon highway and most off highway applications have after coolers.  This increases horse power and aids in emissions.  Cooler charge air creates more horse power and burns more of the fuel.
