Title: removal of light cover

Our fluorescent light over the kitchen area has a plastic cover that I cannot remove.  It seems glued in.  Perhaps the previous owner glued it in, or is there some trick I am missing.  We need to replace the light bulb.

Roger,
On most of the florescent light fixture units, you just press in slightly on the long side of the lens as you pull down and it releases.
