Title: MH AC Condenser fan, What controls it?
Post by: Roland DuBree on May 31, 2013, 07:44:06 PM
Replaced MH AC Condenser cooling fan on condenser under front end of MH due to froze bearings in fan. Thought AC would work better but new fan does not turn on. No power at wires!  What controlls this fan.  Just starting AC or is there so heat sensor someplace?

Not sure what coach and engine you have. In general there is usually a pressure sensor
that triggers power on to the fans at about 230 lbs of pressure. Some systems will power the
Fans on anytime you turn on the air conditioner but that is not likely in your coach. These sensors wil
be on a port on one of the metal tubes. It will be a small cylinder in shape with wires attached usually
maybe an inch in diameter somewhere near the evaporator.
