Title: Air horn covers and brush caps
Post by: Pam Chace on July 10, 2013, 02:16:44 AM
I am looking for 2 Beaver Air horn covers for my 99 Monterey and a brushcap for a Marsh Mfg electric motor for the pump on the Hurricane heat system. If anyone knows where I can find these items, it would be greatly appreciated!  :)

Are you sure it is a Marsh and not a March Pump?  (March Series 809 is a typical pump used in hot water systems) You could try contacting the company and see if they would send you a brush cap.  Sometimes they will send it free as a customer service.  At the very least they should be able to provide contact information on a source of parts.

Steve,

It is a March Mfg.  809-146-05
I have had contact with the company but NO LUCK
They don't sell or have such a small part - I can buy a new motor though for a $.10 part
The motor Number is 0809-0101-1300

Tom,
There are two places that might be worth your time in calling. The first one is the makers of the Hurricane system, International Thermal Research http://itrheat.com/products/hurricane-heating-systems/. The other one is Jim Rixen Enterprises, the company who sold the Hurricane systems to Beaver http://www.rixens.com/.

Jim Rixen designed the installation for the Hurricane heaters in Beavers and supplied all of the parts for the installation. So if he does not have a used motor laying around that he can rob the brush cap from, he may have access to the part from one of his suppliers.

Try Northwest RV Supply in Eugene Or, or BCS (Beaver Coach Sales) in Bend Or for the air horn covers.
