Title: Lighted assist Handle, 2005 Beaver
Post by: Orman Claxton on October 19, 2013, 03:25:41 AM
For the 3rd time, the lighted assist Handle on my Monterey is starting to peel apart, is there anyone who has replaced this with another type?
I am thinking of a polished aluminum, no light, just a nice clean look.
Any ideas?

Orman,  I think if took the correct size pipe to a muffler shop they could bend it to fit.  Then take it and have it chromed.

If you can find a nice looking piece of driftwood, you will have a classy and unique look.

Or have that pipe powder coated. Have it painted what ever color, before clearing have your name painted free hand then a thick clear coat.

Flemming Sales in Elkhart, Indiana would be a supplier to check. They can provide replacements and also do custom handles.
Very easy to deal with and order, I purchased a replacement handle from them for our 2004 Monterey.
