Title: Successful and cheap engine repair
Post by: Bill Sprague on July 28, 2014, 03:38:54 PM
While driving south on I-5 to Newport I noticed the engine would hesitate a little bit when going up hill at full power.  Watching the Aladdin I could see the "power" dip from 100% to as low as 96%.   Of course the imagination went into high gear and I had visions of spending big wads of dollars on fuel pumps, injectors or something.

With Marty's help, I changed both fuel filters in Newport.  The issue has completely disappeared.

Keep spare fuel filters aboard!

We loved Newport, Bill. In Coos Bay now. We have spare fuel filters aboard!
