Title: Coach weight and tire inflation
Post by: Lawrence Tarnoff on November 03, 2015, 05:49:04 PM
We're getting ready to put our new coach in winter storage.  Before doing so, we're having new valves installed on the inner dualies to accommodate our TPMS.  We weighed the coach today and have the tire pressure charts from the manufacturers -- Michelins on the front and Goodyears on the dualies.

Questions: Can I assume that the rear axle handles most of the weight of fuel, water and traveling stuff like food and clothes and etc.?  Today, the coach has a half tank of fuel and a full tank of propane.  Black, gray and water tanks are empty.  Approximately how much additional weight should I add to the rear axle weight measurement?
Other than driver and co-pilot, do I need to add any weight to the front axle measurement?

Thanks in advance,

Larry
