Title: Where can I find a replacement lighted handle for next to the outside entry?
Post by: Stan Simpson on June 07, 2016, 05:13:48 PM
Yesterday, we had our new rescue kitty, Moses (Moe), at the coach so he could get acclimated before our next trip. He's a hefty 15 lbs, and as I backed out of the coach, I grabbed on to the handle next to the entry door for support, and it snapped off right in my hand.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement, that lights, just like the old one?

I plan to call BCS today to see what they say. Perhaps there is a source that's better.

Any help is appreciated.

Stan,
Try these guys.   http://www.flemingsalesoem.com/product/brite-bar-53002-illuminated-straight-handle/

If you also need a separate light assy...  http://www.amazon.com/ITC-86430-LED-ASSEM-DB-Replacement-IllumaGrip/dp/B00K779EH6?ie=UTF8&keywords=itc%2086430-led%20assem-db%20cool%20white%20replacement%20led%20light%20assembly%20for%20illumagrip%20handles&qid=1465324369&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

Thank you, Steve. BCS has the kit for $98.00. I have to replace everything because it all broke, the shaft, the end caps, etc.

I found a Monaco one on eBay for $60, but the bottom end cap is too long.

Edit: Everywhere I tried, they wanted to sell me one that had a rectangular end cap on the bottom, whereas mine is 'bullet shaped'. I ended up "biting the bullet" (pun intended) and got an OEM one from Northwest RV Supply in Eugene.
