The air horns stopped working this past Winter, but I am just now getting around to fixing them. After reading the several threads here on the Forum regarding our Beaver air horns and digging into the coach, what I have determined is the air valve solenoid is fried. Its plastic housing is melted and it smells of a hot electrical fire/smoke. The wall where the solenoid is mounted in the electrical bay is stained.
As near as I can figure the item is a "Hadley Horns H00550B 12v Tank Mounted Solenoid" which I found on Amazon with this aforementioned description. The question I have is there are three models of this solenoid - H00550A, H00550B and H00550C. I am pretty sure the one I need is the H00550B.
Can someone confirm this?

hello David, the 550B is the one I used.

Thank you, Mr. Peters. I ordered one H00550B from Amazon - about $48 including Prime free shipping.

It's all fixed. We put in the H00550B air horn air valve solenoid, then had to get some connector parts because there was a small air leak. After another $10.34 for parts at NAPA it works... for now. Okay, now on to the next thing.
